每日灵修：
当亚伯兰从战场把他的人和侄儿罗德救出来后，神对他说“你不要惧怕”。 他在害怕什么， 不像是在害怕打仗，从他带了318人去战斗的样子就看不出来害怕。接下来的经文展示了他好像在害怕他还没有子女。
没有孩子是个重担，会导致焦虑。不仅在古代，在现代还是这样，尤其是在中国的文化里。 但是，神对他说“我是你的盾牌 ， 必大大的赏赐 你”。 太真实了吧！神是我们的盾牌。大卫王祷告说“因为独有你─耶和华使我安然居住”（诗篇4:8）。
我是一个容易担心的人，经常仔细检查细节只为寻求一丝安宁觉得不会出错。太傻了吧！虽然仔细对待事物不是坏事，但是走了极端就很容易拖人疲惫，经常这会变成浪费时间精力。圣经说“亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此为他的义”。很真实。我们要相信神，只有在神里面才有真安宁和安全。
我向我主祷告愿祂帮助我把一切信心放在祂身上。在所有事上帮我跟随祂。帮助我记住只有在祂那里才有真平安的安全。
When Abram came back from the battle of saving his people and his nephew Lot, the Lord said to him “do not be afraid”. What was he afraid of? He didn’t seem to be afraid of the battle, not the way he fought it with only 318 soldiers. The following scriptures seem to show that he was afraid that he didn’t have any children at that time.
Having no children was a heavy burden and can definitely cause worries and concerns,not just in the old times, it still is in modern days especially in Chinese culture. However, the Lord told him “I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward”. How true is that! The Lord is our shield. King David prayed that “For you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety”(Psalms 4:8).
I’m a person that constantly worries; often times I meticulously examine little details just to seek a peace of mind that nothing can be wrong. How foolish is this! Though treating things with a careful thought is not a bad thing, however going to the extremes quickly wears one down, and many times it’s a waste of time and energy. The scripture then said “And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness”. How true is that!! We shall believe in the Lord. Only in the Lord there is true peace of mind and security.
I pray to my Lord that He would help me put all trust and faith in Him. In all things help me follow Himself. Help me remember that only in Him there is true peace of mind and true security.
